Tour escort from Italy:
For departures from Rome Fiumicino, the escort will travel with the group from Italy.
For departures from other airports, participants will meet the escort at the hotel in Bordeaux.
DAY 1
Arrival in Zurich. Train from the airport to the hotel.
Stroll through the city center to soak in the Christmas atmosphere. Walk through the historic streets and discover Zurich’s famous Christmas Markets, admiring festive lights, browsing local crafts, and tasting traditional treats such as hot chocolate, mulled wine, and Swiss sweets. A perfect introduction to the magic of the holidays in one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities.

DAY 2
Train Zurich – Konstanz (approx. 1 h 20 min)
Guided tour of Konstanz in Italian.
Explore the perfectly preserved medieval old town with its charming streets, half-timbered houses, and elegant squares. Main sights include:
Cathedral of Our Lady (Münster Unserer Lieben Frau) – an impressive Gothic church and the spiritual heart of the city.
Market Square (Marktstätte) – lively with cafés, shops, and historic buildings.
Imperia Statue – the city’s symbol, humorously representing the Council of Constance.
Lakefront and harbor – with stunning views of Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps.
During the tour, the guide will share curiosities and anecdotes about the city’s history, from the Middle Ages and the Council period to modern times.
Free time at Konstanz’s large Christmas Market, perfect for lunch (on your own) and browsing the many stalls with crafts and gifts.
Typical dinner in Konstanz included in the package, to enjoy local dishes in a cozy, traditional setting.
DAY 3
Train Konstanz – St. Gallen (approx. 40 min)
Morning:
Guided tour of St. Gallen in Italian, including the famous Abbey Library, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walking through the historic center, you will discover elegant squares, charming streets, baroque buildings, and historic churches, enjoying the city’s lively atmosphere and rich cultural and religious history.
Lunch on your own in the city and free time at the Christmas Market.
Afternoon:
Public bus from St. Gallen to the Appenzeller cheese dairy for a guided visit in Italian. The dairy staff will explain the secrets of producing the flavorful Appenzeller® cheese, Switzerland’s most aromatic cheese.
Public bus back to St. Gallen.
Train from St. Gallen to Konstanz.
Dinner on your own in Konstanz.
DAY 4
Train from Konstanz to Zurich.
Train from the hotel to the airport.
