DAY 1: Airport transfer in – hotel
Upon your transfer from the airport, our guide will greet you with a clearly visible sign bearing your name, escort you to your private vehicle, and accompany you to your hotel. The journey between Mariscal Sucre Airport and downtown Quito takes approximately 50 minutes, during which our guide will safely guide you to your destination.
Once you've checked in to the hotel, the rest of the day is free, ideal for relaxing, settling in, and starting to explore the city at your own pace, enjoying its typical cuisine, traditional cafes, and attractions near the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 2: Full day Quito City Tour & Middle of the World
We'll begin the day with a visit to a traditional market, where you can experience the local atmosphere, observe the daily life of Quito residents, and sample exotic fruit juices and typical snacks. Afterward, we'll travel to the Basilica of the National Vow, an impressive neo-Gothic church famous for its gargoyles depicting Ecuadorian animals, where we'll explore its main nave.
We'll continue along Guayaquil Street, learning about the history of its facades and the Republican architecture that reflects the city's social evolution. The tour will take us to the Church and Plaza of Santo Domingo, and then we'll ascend El Panecillo, one of Quito's most iconic viewpoints, from where we'll enjoy a panoramic view of the historic center and much of the city.
Back in the historic center, we'll take a walking tour starting at the Plaza and Church of San Francisco, one of the most important architectural complexes in Latin America. After a short break, we'll learn more about one of the country's main exports, cacao, with a chocolate tasting. We'll continue to the Church of the Society of Jesus, renowned for its dazzling gold-leafed interior, and then visit the Plaza Grande, also known as Independence Square, surrounded by the Government Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Archbishop's Palace.
Finally, we'll head to the Middle of the World monument, where you can choose between visiting the Intiñan Museum, with its interactive exhibits on the equator, or the Middle of the World City, home to the iconic monument and its cultural museum. After the visit, we'll return to the hotel.
Day 3: Transfer out of hotel - airport
After breakfast, at the previously arranged time, you will be transferred from the hotel to Quito Airport for your return flight. This concludes our services.
